Assessing topography as the resource for the recreational tourism

This paper discusses the concept of the development of geospatial tools for assessing topography as the resource for the short-term recreational tourism. This approach is based on assumptions that identifying of leading factors is prerequisite for assessment the territory. The analysis is performed with the help of GIS-based tools and standard procedures. They are used for defining the spatial properties of touristic objects in mountainous area of Tashkent region.
