Assessment of creative potential of the region

The article is devoted to regional development in the current conditions, whenthe decisive competitive factor is intangible assets, and the area is presented as asocial space, having historical, cultural and environmental component. The authorproposes a new approach to the evaluation of the creative potential of the region withsignificant limitations of economic activity. At the heart of the construction of theindex it identifies the main factors for the development of creative industries, whichinclude: human capital, infrastructure creation and social and cultural environment.It gives the evaluation of the creative potential of the territories on the administrativecenters of the Siberian Federal District.
