Eating disorders are a fairly common problem in modern society, affecting people of all ages, especially teenagers and young adults. This study shows that among the surveyed medical university students, low and average levels of development of eating disorders predominate. We also found that students with a high level of physical activity have a high probability of having an eating disorder. We assume that this depends on a number of factors, including: the required low weight for athletes and a certain aesthetic component in some professional sports. This must be taken into account by people who play sports, lead an active lifestyle, as well as when choosing the type and intensity of physical activity.
