Assessment of the level of development of the Russian oil and gas industry in modern conditions

The article analyzes some indicators of the oil and gas industry. Examples of large oil and gas companies in Russia are given, their practical value in the development of the country's economy is characterized. The influence of the global sanitary and epidemiological situation on the dynamics of oil and gas revenues to the federal budget, namely, their reduction in 2020, is shown. The analysis of the values of the industry index as of 2022, including the beginning and end of the period, as well as minimum and maximum values, was carried out. The necessity of developing the industry in order to stabilize the socio-economic development of the state in conditions of instability of the world economy is substantiated.
