Assessment of the standard of living of the population of Russia on the basis of statistic analysis

The concept "standard of living" is multifaced and there are many indices allowing to evaluate it both at the national level and for intercountry comparing. On the one hand the standard of living of the population depends on results of economic policy of the country, and on the other hand, on social policy and accessibility of social, medical and other services. Creating favorable conditions for support of the worthy standard of living, namely long, healthy and financially secure life of people, is one of priority tasks of a social and economic policy of the country. In article the entity of the concepts "quality of life" and "standard of living" of the population is opened. Statistic analysis of the standard of living of the population of the country is made. Assessment of the average per capita income of the population, level of poverty, a living wage and purchasing power of the population of the country is carried out.
