Assessment of vibration exposure in the historical part of St. Petersburg on the example of Vasilievsky island

In this work, we made qualitative analysis of the properties of vibration field on the territory of Vasilievsky island of St. Petersburg. The sources of vibrations, characteristic of big cities were reviewed. We have analyzed the characteristics of sources such as: metro, trams, roads, construction sites. For the assessment of vibration exposure was used the method of a square of area estimations. A map-diagram of the vibration field of the metropolis (on the example of Vasilievsky island Saint-Petersburg) was made.
