The growth of the cryptocurrency market is transforming global employment, creating unique challenges and opportunities. The study identifies key trends of this impact: rapid emergence of new professions (blockchain developers, NFT analysts), increased remote work in Web3 projects, and formation of a digital skills divide. Analysis of 2020-2024 data shows that the crypto sector generates high-paying jobs (average salary $130k in the US), but intensifies labor market polarization – 68% of vacancies require highly specialized competencies. Particular attention is paid to regulatory dilemmas: comparison of approaches in 12 countries (for example, the differences between the policies of Switzerland and China) demonstrates a correlation between legislative clarity and job creation rates. The practical significance lies in employment policy recommendations: the need for retraining programs for traditional sector workers and development of flexible regulatory frameworks for decentralized labor forms. Scientific novelty is reflected in the “dual effect” concept – cryptocurrency market simultaneously stimulates innovation and destabilizes social protections.
