Estimation of the influence of illegal migration processes on the economic security of Russia

In modern conditions, the problems of ensuring the economic security of Russia are of the greatest interest to various researchers. Currently, the system of economic security is undergoing changes in terms of strengthening existing threats and the emergence of new challenges and threats to economic security. The author considers illegal migration processes in two aspects: on the one hand, as an independent threat to economic security, on the other – in conjunction with other threats to economic security arising under their influence. The article assesses the impact of illegal migration processes on the whole system of threats to the economic security of Russia using the method of expert assessments, within the framework of which the most significant threats to economic security are determined that are affected by illegal migration processes. Threat assessment is of paramount importance because it allows you to determine the presence, degree of actualization and danger of certain threats to economic security and most efficiently use limited resources to counter these threats.
