The article briefly reflects the reasons for the formation of the greenhouse effect, the essence and assessment of the main results (conclusions) that we have come to. Detailed information about the greenhouse effect and its impact on the state of the biosphere is provided. Living conditions change, and this, in turn, leads to unpredictable consequences, the disappearance of some species and the sudden spread of others.
