Estimation of density-dependent factors influence on the dynamics of species of game animals living in Middle Priamurye

Бесплатный доступ

A simple population model, with a large range of dynamical modes, is used to describe and analyze some features of the population size dynamics. The model parameters (birth rate and survival rates) represent the exponential functions of both age groups numbers. According to this supposition, density-dependent factors restrict the population development. The demographic parameters are estimated for some species of animals, living in Middle Priamurie. It is shown that density-dependent factors may cause fluctuations in numbers.
