Assessment of the influence of ultraviolet radiation on the sowing qualities of cucumber seeds

According to the data of Teplitz of Russia, vegetable production in 2019 reached 1.24 million. that is 13% higher than the previous year. This increase in production is mainly due to the introduction of new greenhouse areas (about 260 hectares) and the modernization of existing greenhouses. Another way to increase the production of vegetable products is to increase the productivity of plants grown in protected soil. This in turn will lead to lower production costs as well as higher productivity. On the indicators that characterize the productive growth of the seed are influenced by many factors - shelf life; methods of pre-seed stimulation, germination technology, etc. One of the effective ways of pre-seed stimulation is stimulation of seeds by ultraviolet radiation. The article provides the results of studies on the effect of ultraviolet radiation dose on the productive qualities of Cucumber seeds of the Murashka variety. Research in this direction is relevant because the most common culture grown in greenhouse conditions is cucumber, which accounts for more than 50% of all harvests greenhouse vegetable.
