Assessment of the possibility of applying a new dimensional typology of female population in the Republic of Belarus

For successful work of garment factories producing women's clothing in the domestic market it’s necessary to have more precise information not only on the size of the model figures, but also on its distribution among the population, since this determines the volume of output. By the order of consortium «Bellegprom» mass measurements of the female population were arranged. The results of measurements confirmed the trend of leading the dimensional characteristics of female population in the direction to reducing the size of shapes and to increasing in the result of of acceleration.
