Evaluation of hemoblastosis morbidity among the personnel of radiation dangerous production (by the example of Siberian group of chemical enterprises)

The paper presents both the study of prevalence and morbidity structure as well as the evaluation of risk coefficients for hemoblastosis and leukemia morbidity rate among the personnel of radiation dangerous production (by the example of Siberian Group of Chemical Enterprises (SGCE). 199 morbid cases during the period of 1955-2003 have been analyzed. It was established that the indices of hemoblastosis morbidity rate among SGCE male personnel proved to be higher as compared with those of Tomsk. There is a significant (as compared with the group under control) increase in the standardized relative risk of hemoblastosis morbidity rate among SGCE males and females working at the non-technogenic impact production. No dependence of leukemia morbidity rate, except for chronic lymphatic leukemia on cumulative dose of external γ-radiation in the dosage range under study has been revealed.
