Approbation of the methodology for calculating the indicators of oil pollution of bottom sediments of rivers that are recognized as natural monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan using regional standards for their background matter content is made. The estimation of the pollution concentration of bottom sediments of rivers with oil hydrocarbons is given.
