Valuation studies: suggestion of a new topical academic subject

The article considers reasonability of development of a new academic subject, the valuation study, which is based upon such a historical scientific area as a research on research. The strategic and tactic objectives of the valuation studies suppose that the role of the state in estimation of toxic assets should be appreciably increased, when the standardization of everything should be substantially limited. The author notes inevitable formation of the state valuers and independent state experts of the toxic assets estimation results in the assessment economic sector, as well as advisable reformation of the existing estimation activity regulations with the more competent and efficient regulator. The article suggests tightening government’s control over activities of the major foreign valuation companies and similar domestic foreign-invested companies.
