Бесплатный доступ

The article analyses the category of evaluation in onomastics, namely in the sphere of chrononyms. Explication of an evaluation component is manifested at different semantic levels of a chrononym. It is proved that the same duration period can be evaluated both positively and negatively. Russian national (Blagoveschenye, Maslenitsa) and dialect (Kama Region: Balovnaya Maslenitsa) names of annual duration are analysed as data as well as chrononymic units found on the territory of Ukrainian and Belorussian Polesye. The data proved sense and concept similarity of East Slavic chrononyms. The data was taken from ethnographic collected volumes, dialect dictionaries and field records.
