Russian Old Belief is one of the most striking phenomena of Russian traditional culture, and in this regard is the object of numerous studies. However, only a few Russian-language studies are devoted to the phenomenon of immigrant Old Believers - a unique example of the adaptation of truly Russian culture to the conditions of an entirely alien cultural space. Today’s Old Believers of Alaska are an example of the adaptation of traditional spiritual principles, the preservation of which is essential to the Old Believers’ culture, to the conditions of being at the center of globalization, Westernization, scientific and technological progress and post-industrialism. Te Old Believers’ experience of non- aggressive resistance to the world order, wiping out any ethnic, cultural and confessional distinctions, is extremely important when drawing the Russian civilizational path in modern conditions. Te task of this research is a comprehensive study of the worldview, mentality, and lifestyle of Alaskan Old Believers
