Lonely women of post-working period of life: definition of the concept

The interpretation of the concept lonely women of post-working period of life is considered in the aspect of the concrete historical conditions in which there was formation of their personalities. Age-role expectations of these women were investigated. The article deals with the main factors limiting the social possibilities of lonely women. It was determined that modern Russian society is not able to perceive an elderly woman as its sterling member.
