“However I started to set the world in order”: space in D. Kharms' drama "Elizaveta Bam"

The article is dedicated to a specific character of space in Daniil Kharms' drama Elizaveta Bam. Due to the character of poetics of absurdism as a whole and Kharms' creative principles, this category assumes a special role in the work being given “plot destructing” function. The article shows that due to its special dynamic character, space contributes as much as possible to the destruction of a dramatic plot in classic reader's understanding and at the same time helps build a new purely absurd plot that is based on elimination of logical connections between its elements and construction of principally other and alogical ones.
