The article describes the approach to decoration of hardware stores aimed at maximization of sales. The factors influencing the parameters of sales conversion growth and average bill value increase are discussed. The author considers the high role of proper zoning of the store, use of communication graphics, various types of navigation. The merchandising specificity of the DIY stores is also described.
