Limitations and opportunities for balanced economic development of the North Caucasus federal district in the context of the “new normal”

The article examines the concept of the “new normality” and its impact on economic development. The author notes that the North Caucasus Federal District needs balanced economic development, as it depends on subsidies from the federal budget and has a low level of investment. The balanced economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District in the context of the “new normality” requires an integrated approach, including the development of various sectors of the economy, increasing the level of human capital and creating a favorable investment environment. To achieve a balanced development of the region, the author proposes to develop infrastructure, industry, tourism and the agro-industrial complex. The work also highlights the importance of improving the quality of education in order to increase the level of human capital in the region. The author notes the importance of developing the infrastructure of the region, which is one of the key tasks for achieving balanced economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District.
