The study examines the main works on the history of the allied occupation policy in the Crimean Peninsula during the Crimean War (1854-1856) by Russian researchers of the pre-revolutionary period. The history of the Crimean War is marked by many tragic events and facts which are still incomprehensible and little-known for the modern generation. An important step in this direction is to find out the true events and phenomena in various spheres of life of the Crimean people who have lived on the territory occupied by the allied forces for a long time. Besides, it is necessary to remember the sacrifices and destructions that have been suffered by people in the brutal war waged by the Russian Empire in the middle of the nineteenth century. This research material can be widely used in studying the history of the Crimean War by local lore experts, students majoring in History, PhD students.
