He climbed Olympus: the historiographer's thoughts

The review examines the contents of the Vth book of the multivolume work «Chronicles of life and work of E.A. Evtushenko» which covers the period from 1976 to 1979. In the new edition, the chronicles of the Poet's appeal to prose, photography and cinema art as well as writing the anthology of the Russian prose of the XXth century are presented alongside with poetic and publishing activities. The special role of V.V. Artyemov who specialized in E.A. Evtushenko's life and creativity and kept his daily recordings during the above mentioned period is emphasized.
