The Polygonum aviculare L. (Polygonaceae) is an annual herb. The research was carried out in 2019 on the territory of the Yakutsk Botanical Garden, located in the Central Yakutia. The species is found in open ruderal places with different anthropogenic load. The material for the research was 6 coenopopulations in anthropogenically modified habitats and 1 introduction population. The study of the ontogenetic structure of the CP and the isolation of ontogenetic states of the P. aviculare were carried out according to generally accepted methods. During ontogenesis, the P. aviculare has five ontogenetic states: latent (seeds), seedlings, juvenile, vegetative, and generative. Root-sprouting of individuals is rarely observed. The maxima in the studied ontogenetic spectra fall on virginal and generative groups. The accumulation of virginal individuals in ontogenetic spectra is associated with mechanical influence, spring-autumn plowing, in which individuals do not have time to pass into a generative state, and natural growing conditions, where the development of individuals is delayed in dry and saline soil. The P. aviculare has shown itself to be morphologically plastic and extremely resistant to trampling and salinization. The state of coenopopulations was assessed by organismic and population indicators. The P. aviculare reacts to the deterioration of conditions (trampling and compaction of the substrate) by a decrease in organismic parameters, but these conditions are not a limiting factor for the state of the population. On loose soils, where plowing is carried out, high organismic and, accordingly, low population indicators are noted. According to the total amount of points, more favorable growing conditions are formed in the absence of trampling (CP 5 and 6).
