Operations of commercial banks with bills

When issuing their own promissory notes and conducting other operations with promissory notes, commercial banks are guided by the Uniform Law on Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes, which is an annex to the Geneva Convention, which establishes the Law on Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes, as well as the general rules of the civil legislation of the Russian Federation governing monetary relations. Currently, the bill occupies an important place in the operations of banks with securities. The volume of funds raised by issuing promissory notes is growing, as evidenced by statistics.
