Operational and search characteristics of bribery

The purpose of the work is the author's interpretation of the operational-search characteristics of bribery and the rationale for its main elements. The work was done on the basis of special methods of cognition, including historical-legal, logical, formal-legal. The analysis of the types of bribery was carried out together with the presence of identical signs in all its four compositions - one object and subject of a crime. Receiving, giving a bribe, mediation in such actions and petty bribery are private acts in relation to the more general concept of «bribery». Modern Russian reality is such that bribery is not only widespread everywhere, but also poses a threat to national security, forming the basis of corruption. It is bribery that contributes to destructive changes in the economy, politics, social sphere, destroys moral principles, directly undermining the foundations of civil society by deforming the legal consciousness about the possibility of satisfying personal and collective interests through bribing officials. It is generally recognized that success in the fight against bribery is due to the active use of the possibilities of operational-search activities.
