Operative search countering the leaders of organized criminal groups: problem solving

Introduction: in the article, the authors analyze the points of view of criminal law and criminology specialists, practitioners of law enforcement agencies on their opinion on the amendments made to article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. These changes were made by the President of the Russian Federation with regard to the increased criminal liability of the criminal leaders. Taking into account the opinion of the discussion participants, the need for purposeful work in countering the manifestations of organized crime, especially on the part of its leaders is recommended Materials and methods: the research materials are international law (including sources of the ECHR) and local criminal laws and regulations, norms of operational search legislation, as well as theoretical studies of well-known scientists on the countering organized crime issues. Within the framework of the dialectical method and in conjunction with it, there are both general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, logical, etc...
