Wages in the strategy of overcoming poverty

The article discusses the nature of the relationship between the value of wages and poverty in modern Russia. Special attention is paid to the study of negative effect of social sphere commercialization and income inequality growth on the scale of poverty. It is demonstrated that strategy for overcoming poverty should include a revision of wage policy as the main direction.
