Opposition between education and spirituality according to Dostoyevsky (based on the problem of self-consciousness of Russian intelligentsia)

The author analyzes one of the key oppositions in the self-consciousness of Russian intelligentsia: education vs. spirituality. Each member of this opposition built their own paradigm of conflicting but inextricably connected intelligentsia values. These conclusions are drawn on the basis of the analysis of the life and texts by F.M. Dostoyevsky who was one of the main exponents of the consciousness of Russian intelligentsia
