Phytotoxicity determination of flower beds soil in Yoshkar-Ola

The studying results of the soil phytotoxicity from 6 flower beds in Yoshkar-Ola using watercress seeds as a test-object are presented. The lowest phytotoxicity was found in the sample from the flower bed at the entrance to the botanical garden, as well as from flower beds in the central part of the city, but remote from the roadway of the streets. More polluted soil was found in flower beds in close proximity to the roadway of busy central streets.
