Definition of functions of the criminal liability law enforcement

The article examines the theoretical foundations of definition and content of the functions of the criminal liability law application practice in Ukraine. The author defines and describes such functions of the criminal liability law execution as: the rule of law; filling the gaps in law; evaluation, interpretive, empirical and didactic functions. The value of these functions, first of all, is that they provide an opportunity to find out the legal nature and criminal legal relevance of such juridical phenomenon as practice of execution of the criminal liability law.
