Determination of wear in the assessment of use of the port of hydraulic structures for lease

Paper is devoted to practical issues relevant to determine the market rent for use of berths at the commercial sea ports. Particular attention is paid to analysis of the economic content of the concept of «depreciation» in the assessment. Recommendations developed by the author based on practical experience methods and techniques of determination of all components of the wear and tear. Expand economic sense and the interpretation of the proposed models for calculating depreciation facilities for evaluation purposes, the calculated formulas, graphical illustrations and practical examples.
