Determination of the concentration of a colloidal solution of iron (III) hydroxide by absorption spectroscopy

In this work, the study of the absorption spectra of aqueous colloidal solutions of iron (III) hydroxide of various degrees of dilution by the method of absorption spectroscopy in the optical range. It is shown that in the ultraviolet region the optical density of dilute solutions changes significantly with a change in their concentration, which can be used to determine the concentration of such solutions.
