Determination of the critical value of the well flow rate during fountain operation

The purpose of this study is to propose a method for determining the critical flow rate in flowing wells to prevent the collapse of the productive formation, taking into account the homogeneity of the rocks. The concept of critical flow rate is associated with many disputes in the community of engineers involved in the development of oil and gas deposits. First of all, questions are raised by the existing analytical methods for determining the critical flow rate. Calculations were made and the critical value of the well flow rate was determined, at which a collapse of the formation may occur.
