Determination of the lower limit of the tightening torque of the choke joints performed in accordance with OST92-8497-93 under the operating conditions of the engine pneumatic system type RD-107/108

Has been adducted testing results of fitting leakproofness for different values of tightening and fixed internal pressure. Have been refined demands of the minimum required value for tightening connections of pipelines for the specific operating conditions of RD-107/108. The possibility of using a new type of connections in engine design is confirmed.
