Orbital tether system aimed on small capsules deorbiting parameters definiton

The paper consider orbital tether system (OTS) as a cluster of mother satellite (MS) on low earth orbit and subsatellite attached to MS via tether. The proposed control law for the system is optimal due to Pontriagin's criteria. Results of carried-out simulation of satellite moving towards circular and elliptic orbit are described. Analytical formulas considering angle of atmosphere entrance and control and OTS parameters are being built.
