Definition of the concept "terrorism" in the Russian criminal law and legislation

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the spread of terrorism is one of the global threats to humanity. Terrorist acts cause irreparable damage to international stability, national security and the economy of States, cause enormous human losses and suffering, and all possible measures must be taken to prevent them.For Russia, the terrorist threat is particularly relevant, since Russia is an active subject of international relations and has an exceptional geographical position, which predetermines its special role in the Eurasian space. The subject of the research is the norms of criminal law that establish the qualification of terrorist crimes.
