Definition of the concept of "sport veteran" as a necessary condition for giving official status to the mass sports movement of middle-aged and older citizens

The article explores the concept of "veteran sport". Different approaches to the interpretation of this term make it difficult to give a clear legal definition to middle-aged and older people involved in sports, which in turn makes it impossible to develop one of the most popular and mass sports movements in Russia with the support of the government.
