We analyzed the parameters of ultrasound echobiometry of 40 patients (80 eyes) with primary angle-closure glaucoma and 40 healthy individuals (80 eyes). The study showed a low sensitivity of the "relative lens position" (RLP) test (22.5%) with a sufficiently high specificity and a high sensitivity of the ophthalmobiometric factor index (OBF) (100%) with extremely low specificity. It is shown that the use of these methods in clinical practice has a number of limitations and there is a need to create new tests for determining the risk of developing primary angle-closure glaucoma, taking into account the anatomical parameters of the eye.
