This article reveals the uncertainty factors, geopolitical, technological, legal, influencing the implementation of blockchain technologies in international trade. The systemic risks of using blockchain technology and strategies for mitigating them are summarized in the table. Steps are proposed that will allow blockchain not only to overcome existing barriers, but also to become a fundamental element of the digital transformation of international trade.
