Objective assessment of stomatological orthopedic treatment is very important and unresolved problem. Recovery of verbal function is one of the parameters of successful treatment. The goal of the study was to develop the methodology of verbal function objective assessment before and after treatment. The basic concept of methodology is detailed analysis of audiograms with determination of individual phonetic parameters. Comparison of phonetic parameters at different treatment stages with reference values gives an opportunity to receive precise information on degree of verbal function recovery. In this work we used the methodology for determination of phonetic adaptation to either dental prosthesis or other methods of treatment or procedures connected with changing verbal function.
