A questionnaire for pregnant women as a tool to study psychological readiness for motherhood

The article discusses the current demographic situation in our country and the measures taken by the Russian government to improve it, as well as the state of the institute of motherhood in Russia at the moment. The concepts «motherhood» and «psychological readiness for motherhood» are considered. The article marks the components of psychological readiness for motherhood which are identified by the questions of the presented questionnaire for pregnant women. It also describes the role of the proposed tools within the work with future mothers on the stage of pregnancy.
