Survey methods for measuring trust as a component of social capital

This article reveals the content of trust in sociology as one of the components of social capital. The cognitive possibilities of survey methods for studying trust at the empirical level are described. The survey methods are considered from the position of formalized and non-formalized tools. Emphasis is placed on the classification of questions for a formalized survey. At the empirical level, an analysis of the measurement of trust and its relationship with another component of social capital - social activity is shown.
