This article discusses the main problems arising in the management of procurement activities, and also identifies the reasons for their occurrence. In the context of each problem, possible solutions are proposed using information technologies. The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that procurement is one of the key business processes of the organization and the effectiveness of management at each stage determines the competitiveness of the business as a whole.
