Optimization of local governments activity on providing municipal services in the conditions of digitalization

The article analyzes the problems of optimizing the activities of local governmentsin the provision of municipal services. The analysis of the existing legal norms andpractices for the provision of state and municipal services is carried out, includingthe example of the Leningrad region. Positive experience of public authorities ofthe Leningrad region on development of organizational and methodical tools forimprovement of municipal services quality is considered. Proposals for improvingthe process of providing municipal services in the conditions of digitalization aregiven.
