Optimization of treatment of ulcerous gastroduodenal bleedings in patients of elderly and senile age

Method of multilayered tamponade of the ulcer using haemostatic collagen sponge with imposing continuous suture for edge of the ulcer is developed aimed at decreasing risk of operation and anesthesia in patients of elderly and senile age having bleeding from huge ulcers of the duodenal which is in critical condition. Operations were performed in 11 patients. For morphologic estimation of a new method, experimental model of a huge ulcer on dogs was developed on the basis of which mechanisms of ulcer regeneration with presence of an ulcer haemostatic collagen are investigated.
