Optimization of mineral nutrition of rapeseed and winter cress on the meadow-chernozem soil of Western Siberia

Бесплатный доступ

On the meadow-chernozem soil of the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia, a high influence of nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizers on the productivity of rapeseed and winter cress has been established, as opposed to the insignificant influence of potassium fertilizers on the cultures at study. A close relationship between the accumulation of the above-ground mass of rapeseed and winter cress and the seed yield has been revealed. The main influence on the quality of the harvest of rapeseed and winter cress is represented by nitrogen fertilizers. Between the accumulation of fat and protein in seeds of rapeseed and winter cress an inverse correlation can be observed. When nitrogen fertilizers are applied, the fat content in the seeds is reduced, while the protein content increases. The results of research with the 15N isotope have shown that rapeseed uses 40-60% of the nitrogen fertilizer applied to it. With the improvement of phosphorus nutrition conditions, the use of nitrogen fertilizer increases by more than 12%...
