Optimization of loading and unloading operations as a factor for improving the quality of road transport

The article considers one of thefactors that affect the improvement of the quality of road transport, namely, the optimization of loading and unloading operations. It is revealed that loading and unloading operations are one of the most labor-intensive logistics operations for cargo transportation. Recommendations are given to reduce vehicle delays during loading and unloading operations. An algorithm for optimizing loading and unloading operations is proposed, the implementation of which will ensure rational use and least delays of the vehicle and, thereby, improve the quality of road transport.
