Optimization of psychological selection in special police divisions

The author considers the issues of staffing situation in the internal affairs agencies, including: the tendency of outflow of experienced, highly qualified personnel; the gap between the level of police officers’ training and the criminal competence of the underworld. It is concluded that there is an urgent need for further search of innovative HR management strategies and more efficient organizational mechanisms of recruitment in the police bodies.
