The results of long-term research (2011-2017) on the formation of grain productivity and sowing qualities of seeds of two ecotypes of two-row spring barley - hulled and hulless - depending on the sowing date in case of placement after two forecrops - clean fallow and grain crops - under the conditions of the southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia. Object of research were 2 varieties of two-row barley: hulled barley Omskiy 90 and hulless barley Omskiy golozernyy 1. During the field experiment 5 different sowing times were studied: May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and June 4th. Barley was sewn on the Experimental Field of the Seed Production Department of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center”. As a results of the decrease of moisture in June - July (decrease in HTC from 1.80 to 0.42) the optimal sowing date of spring barley for seed purposes was shifted from May 7th-14th to May 21st-28th. Under the conditions of excessive moisture in June - July (HTC = 1...
